Mark Jerrell, District 4

Mark Jerrell serves on the Mecklenburg Board of County Commissioners, representing District 4, which comprises the eastern part of Mecklenburg County. He was first elected as commissioner in 2018. Mark is actively engaged in the community and is focused on efforts to support social justice and equity and improve the lives of all people in Mecklenburg County. He currently serves on the Inter-Governmental Relations Committee (Chair), Economic Development, Environmental Stewardship, and Health and Human Services committees.

Responsible for helping coordinate the intergovernmental relations between and among Mecklenburg County and all the governing bodies operating within the County at the federal, state, and local levels.
